The Leontine Hagoort spring-summer 2012 collection draws inspiration from the Victorian butterfly specialist and diarist, Margaret Fountaine. Considered to be somewhat wayward for her time, this remarkable and courageous woman decided early on in life to go her own way and travelled the world, collecting butterflies and recording her amazing life in a diary. With a distinctive character and individual flair, the woman of today expresses herself through her sense of style and attitude to life. Like a modern-day nomad, she enjoys her freedom and is not afraid to be herself.
